Many parents and relatives love being photographed with their children and try to document their growth from birth. It is easy to understand why — children are incredibly charming, and as they grow, you can see their character developing.
Whether your child is cheerful, shy, or curious, photography is one of the best ways to preserve memories of their growth.
When accepting a booking, I always want to understand the parents’ expectations. For example, newborns are best photographed shortly after waking up (when they are not tired) and after feeding (when they are calmer). It is also important to shoot in a warm environment so the baby feels comfortable.
What if the child is not in a good mood? We can still photograph them. Serious, thoughtful, or even slightly sad expressions can be just as beautiful as smiling ones. Even crying children sometimes create surprisingly powerful images.
